The combination of alcohol consumption, fear of that next day hangover, and late-night munchie festivities goes back to the ancients. It reminds my of a story my father used to regale to me as I was a small child….

Back in Greek mythology, Zeus, Apollo, and Poseidon went on a mad tear one evening at a local TGI Fridays. They tried to pick up Aphrodite and were all shot down. Closing Fridays, licking there wounds, and in fear of a hangover they all decided to stop at a Waffle House just outside of Mount Olympus. What a glorious feast they consumed of greasy-hangover muchie elixir. During their feast, Poseidon began to weep due to his strikeout with Aphrodite. Although they were all carrying their cell phones and captured the munchie hangover fail, there was no such app to capitalize on Poseidon’s misfortune. The only app that they had that was close to this was one that could turn it into a constellation, and who has time for that?
